The Grand Army of the Republic[]
The military organization that fought in the Clone Wars, a minor brushfire conflict according to some of the latest writing by Star Wars author Karen Traviss.
The Grand Army of the Republic was formed at the command of Grand Chancellor Palpatine in an effort to fight the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Made up of at absolute minimum 3.2 million clones of the infamous bounty hunter, Jango Fett (roughly the number of men to have served on both sides of the American Civil War).
