Generally, a battle is an instance of combat in warfare between two or more parties wherein each group will seek to defeat the others. Battles are most often fought during wars or military campaigns and can usually be well defined in time, space and action. Wars and military campaign are guided by military strategy whereas battles are the stage on which military tactics are employed.
List of Star Wars/RpG System Battles
- Battle of Yavin (0 ABY) - Fought between The Rebel Alliance and The Galactic Empire as depicted in Star Wars: Episode IV-A New Hope. It marked the destruction of the first Death Star, the first Rebel victory in the Galactic Civil War, and the new calander system.
- Battle of Hoth (3 ABY) - Fought between The Rebel Alliance and The Galactic Empire as depicted in Star Wars: Episode V-The Empire Strikes Back. After the Rebels were forced to retreat, it was thought that the Rebel Alliance was destroyed for good.
- Battle of Endor (4 ABY) - Fought between The Rebel Alliance and The Galactic Empire as depicted in Star Wars: Episode VI-Return of the Jedi. It marked the beginning of the end of the Galactic Civil War and saw the deaths of both Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, which dramatically crippled the Empire.
- Battle of Coruscant - Fought between The New Republic and The Imperial Remnant
- Battle of Tatooine - Fought between The Rebellion/New Republic and The Imperial Remnent
- Battle of Utapau - Fought between The Exelor Star Fleet and The Utapau Militia
- Second Battle of Utapau - Fought between the Utapau Republic and the Grand Associated Army of Utapau
- Battle over Rutan - Fought between the Utapau Republic and the The Imperial Remnant
- Battle of Corellia - Fought between The Imperial Remnant and the forces of the Corellian System
- Battle of Rinn -Fought between the Empire and the New Republic
- Defense of Mustafar -Fought between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic
- Invasion of Utapau -Fought between the Imperial Remnant and the Utapau Republic
